More about our cast and the presentation:
Our group begins rehearsals in February and our cast consists of many different denominations and ages.
We put our hearts into every scene and every song and put numerous hours into ensuring our presentation is biblically accurate. God With Us is more than a church play, it is a passion play.
A Passion play is a dramatic representation of the trial, suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus. While “Passion” is a Christian theological term used to express Jesus's spiritual, emotional, and physical pain before and during the crucifixion, Passion plays also portray events earlier in Jesus's life. You will see our performance often starts with the birth of Jesus and moves through a time when Jesus was a child.
The cast often refers to our performances as an experience. There are a lot of emotional moments, but there are a lot of fun moments too. This group is truly a family!
